Worship Services
Our Summer Schedule ~ Sunday, May 25 through Sunday, August 31.
Thursday evenings: 6:30pm and Sunday mornings: 9:00am.
Worship Themes:
June 5 + 8 = The Holy Spirit Will Teach You All Things (Pastor Ben Golisch)
June 12 + 15 = By the Triune God, We Are Blessed (Pastor Ben Golisch)
June 19 +22 = You Are My Witnesses (Pastor Loren Lucht)
June 26 + 29 = “Follow Me” (Pastor Ben Golisch)
Worship notes:
We start June with three special themes: Ascension, Pentecost and Trinity Sunday. Then, Pastor Lucht is back while Pastor Golisch is on vacation. Finally, June 26 & 29 is our next “Favorite Hymns” service. That Sunday, we also recognize and honor Lisa Meissner (our Little Learner Administrator) who official retires this weekend. We will also install our Church Council and School Board. One final reminder: from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend, we follow our summer schedule of one Sunday service at 9:00am. (Thursday remains unchanged.) Also, we want to make the first Sunday of each month a FRIENDSHIP SUNDAY. We want these services to be visitor friendly. Rich Piontek will be playing for these services.

Worship
Each worship service is a blessed opportunity for the family of God to get together and listen to the Word of the Lord as well as pray and praise God together. As the psalmist wrote, there is such joy whenever we join our hearts together in worship: "I rejoiced with those who said to me, 'Let us go to the house of the Lord'!" (Psalm 122:1)
Our services follow a "Path of Worship" which is printed out for everyone who attends. This makes the service easy to follow for members and visitors alike. We sing a wonderful blend of favorite Christian hymns as well as newer Christian songs. Each week we have a theme founded in God's Word and reinforced by our musical choices. This nurtures our members in their faith even as it introduces new visitors to the joys of God's grace.
And there is strength to be found gathering together in the presence of God. The writer to the Hebrews advises us to worship regularly not just for the praise of the Lord but also for mutual encouragement, because each day this world becomes more discouraging. (See Hebrews 10:22-25, but especially verse 25)
