April 16 + 19 = Easter 3 = Jesus Lives to Restore My Hope (Pastor Ben Golisch)
April 23 + 26 = Easter 4 = Jesus Lives to be My Good Shepherd (Sr. Vicar Caleb Foelske)
April 30 = Easter 5/Examination = Be Prepared to Answer (Pastor Ben Golisch)
May 3 = Easter 5/Confirmation Day = Jesus Lives to Prepare Heaven for Me (Pastor Ben Golisch)

The theme for the rest of the Easter season is “Jesus Lives…” What does his resurrection mean for me? Each week we will look at one facet or another.
While Confirmation isn’t until May 3, Examination falls on April 30. That night is a special service with special readings and hymns. The sermon is replaced with the examination of our Confirmation class.

Worship
Each worship service is a blessed opportunity for the family of God to get together and listen to the Word of the Lord as well as pray and praise God together. As the psalmist wrote, there is such joy whenever we join our hearts together in worship: "I rejoiced with those who said to me, 'Let us go to the house of the Lord'!" (Psalm 122:1)
Our services follow a "Path of Worship" which is printed out for everyone who attends. This makes the service easy to follow for members and visitors alike. We sing a wonderful blend of favorite Christian hymns as well as newer Christian songs. Each week we have a theme founded in God's Word and reinforced by our musical choices. This nurtures our members in their faith even as it introduces new visitors to the joys of God's grace.
And there is strength to be found gathering together in the presence of God. The writer to the Hebrews advises us to worship regularly not just for the praise of the Lord but also for mutual encouragement, because each day this world becomes more discouraging. (See Hebrews 10:22-25, but especially verse 25)
