Calvary Lutheran School, Waukesha, Wisconsin, for kindergarten; St. Paul’s Lutheran School, Livonia, Michigan, for grades 1-8, and Michigan Lutheran Seminary, Saginaw, Michigan, for grades 9-12. He graduated from Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin, in 1992. In May of 1996, he graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon, Wisconsin, with a Master of Divinity degree.

Pastor Ben Golisch was born in West Allis, Wisconsin, but spent most of his formative years living in Michigan. Pastor Golisch graduated high school in 1988 from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in Saginaw, Michigan. He received his Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in 1992 from Northwestern College in Watertown, Wisconsin. He received his Masters of Divinity degree in 1996 from Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, Wisconsin.
From 1996-2003, Pastor Golisch served Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Martinez, Georgia. From June of 2003 to June 2018, he served King of Kings in Maitland, FL. He has also served congregations in Novi, Michigan; Petoskey, Michigan; Litchfield, Minnesota; Savannah, Georgia; Irmo, South Carolina; and Nashua, New Hampshire in various ways for various lengths of time.
Pastor Golisch has served as the pastor here at St. Paul Lutheran Church since July 1, 2018.
Although Pastor Golisch grew up in the greater Detroit area, he is comfortable in the big city or out in the wide-open country, up north or down south, on land or on the water. His interests include all sorts of sports, jigsaw puzzles, and being a father to his three sons and a husband to his wife of twenty-five years, Sue.
