Sunday School
Our Sunday School exists to
"make disciples of all nations...teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you". (Matthew 28:19-20)
Are you ready? Sunday School resumes on Sunday, September 12!
The Sunday School theme for this year is "Who Is Jesus?" – (What is He to Me?).
We will be studying New Testament
stories that teach about who Jesus is and what he did for us.
In our Sunday School classes, children learn about
their Lord in various ways. In addition to hearing or
reading the stories of the Old Testament this year,
the students will also “see” the stories
in videos, and “live” the stories by acting
some of them out! Some days they will even be playing
games to review previous lessons. Learning Bible passages
or portions of Luther's Catechism, doing worksheets,
making crafts related to the day's lesson, and sing
songs of praise are just some of the activities the
children will enjoy.
Sunday School meets during the school year from 9:00
- 10:15 on Sunday mornings in the lower level of
the church and in the Preschool and Kindergarten class
rooms. We have classes for children from ages 3 years
to 8th grade.
Who's my teacher
