Children's Ministries

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” - Matthew 19:14

Children are important to Jesus and to the members of Saint Paul. Christian education has always been a hallmark of the Lutheran church, from the days of Dr. Martin Luther in the 1500's unto our present day. St. Paul congregation maintains a number of child-based ministries for helping families nurture their children with God's Word.

Sunday School

Children age 3 to 8th grade grow in God's Word from 9:00 to 10:15 every Sunday morning at St. Paul! They not only read the stories from the Bible, but the students will also “see” the stories in videos, and they will “live” the stories by acting some of them out! Each quarter we have Bible Game Days, which reinforce what we have learned in fun ways! We have reinforcement sheets, crafts related to the day's lesson, and songs that honor God and excite his people! Your child will love it!

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is usually held the first full week of August. What a great way to remind children that God is with us - even in summer! Children learn about God’s word, make crafts, play games and sing praises to God. All children age 3 through 5th grade are welcome.

But godliness with contentment is great gain. ~ 1 Timothy 6:6
