Outreach Teams

To better meet the needs of our community, we have 3 types of outreach groups:
In-Person, In-Print and On-Line

In-Person: Evangelism Committee

The Evangelism Committee and its volunteers are involved in visiting the new comers in the community. We send a letter to new families and within a week we try to contact them in person. At those times we also give the information on our preschool K5 and other activities.

On special holidays we makes sure that there are more greeters in church, and we have special cards so visitors can provide us with more information on their families. We send a thank you to those who sign our guest register at the church services. We also coordinate a booth at the county fair each year.

We currently have a special table with evangelism materials setup in the entry of the Christian Family Center for the contemporary services. On special days we also are there in person to answer questions the people may have.

In-Print: Newsletter Team

St. Paul has developed an engaging newsletter, the Journey, to inform both members and our community neighbors about activities within the church. Content is gathered from the many active groups in the church on a monthly basis. Once the newsletter is edited and formatted, it is made available in printed format, at the entrance of the church and gymnasium, as well as electronically on the church website.

If you have an idea for a newsletter article, or if your team has an announcement, please contact one of the pastors.

On-Line: Web Team

The St. Paul web site serves a dual purpose. It is designed to inform members about activities and meetings within the church, but it is also used as an outreach tool to inform and invite the community. The role of the Web team is to keep the St. Paul web site information current so that it continues to meet both of these purposes.

Team duties include writing content for the web site, taking photos of church activities, and posting articles from different groups within the church. Technical members of the team are responsible for programming and maintaining site registration and hosting information.

If you have ideas for improving the web site, or would like to offer your photography, web design/development or writing skills, please contact one of the following web team members:

Patti Dornacker- Webmaster/Web Developer
Diane Fleischmann - Website Editor
Carol Thielmann - Church Secretary
