Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!
-Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 God has given us all different interests and unique talents. At St. Paul
we offer lots of ways to use those talents. You can join a committee to
further the work of the church. Are you musically gifted? We have several
choirs and opportunities for musicians. Are you physically able? You can
compete in sports, enjoy some open gym time, or even clean and decorate
the church. Like crafts? Join the quilting or scrapbooking group. We even
have a group of motorcycle enthusiasts. All of these groups let members
share their talents for the Lord in their own special way.

If the old hymn writer were alive today, he might add this verse to the
song
Hark the Voice of Jesus Crying:
If you cannot speak like angels,
If you cannot preach like Paul,
You can make a quilt or scrapbook, Throw a dart, play volleyball.
Clean the church or decorate it, Join the choir or play guitar.
You can show your love for Jesus. Share the gifts he
gives you here! |
