Sunday School

Our Sunday School exists to "make disciples of all nations...teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you". (Matthew 28:19-20)

Sunday School resumes on September 7, 2008. The theme for this year is "We Raise Our Hands in Praise". We will be studying Old Testament stories that show us how we can "raise our hands" like believers did long ago. We will learn about different ways we can praise God as well as use the gifts and talents that God gave us to serve Him.

Sunday School meets from 9:00 - 10:15 on Sunday mornings in the lower level of the church and in the Preschool and Kindergarten class rooms. We have classes for children from ages 3 years to 8th grade. Children hear a devotion, learn bible passages and portions of Luther's Catechism, read a bible lesson, do a worksheet or craft project, and sing songs of praise.
